About Me

As you may have guessed, my name is Dave. I live in the UK, where I am taking my A levels. I like to play around with lots of digital things, including wallpapers, programming and web design.
For image editing, manipulation and creation, I use the GIMP, which I would strongly recommend as a free alternative to Adobe Photoshop. It is a little harder to learn how to use, but the price tag certainly makes up for this.
All web design and programming that I do is in pure code, not made in WYSIWYG editors, as I believe that this method is more versatile and structured. Once you start coding, you see that code created in WYSIWYG editors is a complete mess. Notepad++ serves all of my code editing needs. I have taught myself HTML, CSS, Script-Fu and JavaScript. I am now learning visual basic, with varying levels of success.
